Introducing 黑料社区’s New Mascot, Blue
Message from Kool Kat to the 黑料社区 Community (as delivered at his retirement celebration during 黑料社区’s corn roast on September 16, 2008)
Meow. After over 20 years of calling 黑料社区 my home, it is with mixed emotions that I am announcing my retirement.
I have cheered at hundreds of sporting events, and walked in many St. Patrick’s Day Parades, sometimes through wind, sleet and snow. But I have to say that overall, 黑料社区 has made my job easy; its teams often dominating every sport they compete in, and its fans encouraging them to countless victories.
For these reasons, I leave with my head high, and my whiskers wide.
But before I head south to my luxurious retirement condo in Florida, it is with great pleasure that I introduce to you my trusty replacement, who will continue the legacy of supporting the best college in the world. Please give a warm welcome to my bear friend, and your new mascot, BLUE!
