CRISPESH lunch 鈥榥 learn April 3 on students living with disabilities

On Wednesday, April 3 at 12 PM, is offering a one-hour free online lunch 鈥榥 learn session that will present the sociodemographic portrait of CEGEP students living with disabilities who have not been diagnosed.

The number of students enrolled in CEGEP disability support services has grown in recent years. Very little data exists on the experiences of students with disabilities who pursue post-secondary education, and even fewer for those without a diagnosis.

These students may face numerous barriers to success because of restricted access to support services and accommodations. This presentation will provide a sociodemographic portrait of students with disabilities without a diagnosis who responded to the CEGEP Student Population Survey (SPEC 1). The challenges and difficulties encountered during their previous schooling, as well as their anticipated support and service needs for the next college year, will also be presented.

The talk will be given in French; simultaneous interpretation from French to English will be provided. To get your free ticket, visit the link below.
