Upcycle the Runway 2025

Upcycle the Runway

Fashion Show
April 24
2F.4 Conrod’s
11:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Upcycle the Runway is a unique fashion show event that aims to address the environmental and social challenges posed by fast fashion.

Through the up-cycling of second- hand clothing, our Cin | Com Integrating Activity class project demonstrates how fashion can be both innovative and environmentally conscious.

By breathing new life into discarded clothing, the collection seeks to challenge the throwaway culture prevalent in the fashion industry and emphasizes the need for a more sustainable approach.

Our fashion event not only promotes the value of reducing waste but also aims to inspire others to reconsider their consumption habits.

May 8 – 15

Mirage and Reality was created from group discussions and presentations. Sharing our images and ideas made us want to encourage each other to push the limits of our imaginations to question and express our realities. In our heads we have these fantasy worlds, all these creative paths, how do we bring that into the reality of our lives?

Fragments & Wholeness

Vernissage

Exhibition
May 8 – 15

Each of us arrived at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø with distinct visions-fragments shaped by our unique backgrounds, perspectives, and artistic voices. Through experimentation and growth in the ALC Studio Arts Program, these fragments evolved into works that reflect our creativity, curiosity, and commitment to artistic exploration.

This exhibition is a celebration of both our individuality and our shared experience. While each piece stands on its own-varying in style, medium, theme, and concept-together, they form a collective whole. In this final moment before graduation, we come together to present our achievements, both personal and collective.

Fragments & Wholeness speaks to the journey we’ve taken-not only as emerging artists, but as a community, it marks the transformation of separate artistic expressions into a cohesive narrative, one that honours where we came from and looks forward to where we’re going.
